DF Platforms
The Directors’ Forum began life on WhatsApp. It was the first online platform we used to bring directors together. As word of mouth spread about our positive, good natured, and supportive space, more directors joined us. This soon expanded into our private Facebook Group that enabled us to welcome in directors across all time zones. To help share news about our mixers and to reach more creatives, we launched our Instagram. So, all three online platforms have been instrumental in the emergence and expansion of the Directors’ Forum.
WhatsAppprivate
We currently have a private WhatsApp Group for directors only, based in the UK and Europe. This is because the instant messaging of WhatsApp works best when DF members are in similar time zones. We are now in the process of launching our DF WhatsApp North America Group for directors based in North America.
Facebookprivate
The Directors’ Forum Facebook Page is a private group for directors only. An online space for directors to post about their work, share tips, discuss the industry or festivals, and network with each other. This is a global group, with directors based all over the world. Any director can join. All they need to do is request an email invite with the button below.
Instagrampublic
The Directors’ Forum Instagram is a public account that welcomes any followers. We have lots of creatives following us, not just directors. Our Instagram stories are used to post inspirational quotes, share the work of our followers, and to announce DF Mixers/events. This is our most recently launched platform so feel free to follow us with the link below.

How to Attend a DF Mixer
We post details of our DF Mixers in the stories of our Instagram. These posts will include the date and time, but not the location. This helps us manage the invites. If you would like to attend, all you need to do is DM us on Instagram when you see a DF Mixer you would like to attend for the full invite details.
